Visit To JAIPUR, The Pink City Of Rajasthan

Welcome to our Jaipur series, around the end of 2019, we traveled to the famous “Pink City” of India. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan state in India. The royal family that once ruled the region and is what is now called the “Pink City” predominantly for its trademark building color. Patrika Gate

The Patrika gate is the entrance of Jawahar Circle, which has been designed beautifully. Patrika gate gives you a glance into the rich culture of Rajasthan, each pillar is beautifully dedicated to some part of the Pink City. You can find hand paintings of forts, temples, palaces, and even portraits of Jaipur rulers, of Amer, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jal Mahal are found here. In short this Gate can give you a glimpse of the entire history of Jaipur.

Hawa Mahal

The Hawa Mahal is the next visit worthy spot! With an ordinate pink-painted, structures and sandstone. The palace is on the edge of the City Palace, and extends to the Zenana, or women’s chambers. Hawa Mahal or The “Breezy Palace”, is famous for its windows which enable free circulation of air within the structure. Hawa Mahal’s entrance leads to a spacious courtyard surrounded by two-storey buildings on three sides. It is the most-distinctive landmark. The frontside and Backside view is both #Gramworthy

City Palace – Part 1

The City Palace in Jaipur is the Marvelous palace of the Maharaja. It was built in the 18th Century for the Maharaja of Jaipur, and the palace is still a royal residence today that is also open for commercial purposes. The inner courtyard called Pritam Niwas Chowk, there are four intricately designed doorways in the walls. These doors are each unique in its design and decoration. Interesting fact; the four doors represent the seasons and different Hindu gods.

City Palace – Part 2

City Palace, in the Pink city stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture. It undoubtedly forms one of the most famous tourist attractions and acts as a major landmark in Jaipur. The beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign. Among all the beautiful forts and palaces of Jaipur.

Amer/Amber Fort

Amer Fort is located in Amer, Rajasthan. The magnificent fort is one of the most famous forts of Rajasthan. It is a prominent feature on the list of Jaipur’s top tourist attractions. The spots in the fort combines both immense fortifications along with unexpected and intricate beauty and charm. The entire fort is made out of sandstone and marble. Amer Fort consists a whole of four courtyards, palaces, halls, and gardens.
